WHAT IS A GAME JAM?
A Game Jam is a gathering of individuals and teams to create, learn, and meet and work with people of all kinds who want to make games.
Artists, Musicians, Writers, Programmers, and Enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome! If you don’t have skills, do not worry, this is where you can learn things of all kinds.
IN THE THE WHOLE WORLD GETS INVOLVED… WORK WITH OTHER IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES!

5:30pm – 7:00pm meet and set up
6:30pm – (food) – Diner time
7:00 – Jam official start
Midnight – end of Day 1
Saturday – Day 2
10:00am start / (food) – Breakfast time
1:00pm – (food) – Lunch time
5:00pm – half way point
7:00pm – (food) – Diner time
Midnight – end of Day 2
Sunday – Day 3
10:00am start / (food) – Breakfast time
1:00pm – (food) – Lunch time
5:30pm – fine tuning of all games / – (food) – Diner time
7:00pm – Final uploads and Presentation of all games that were made.
NOTE: IT IS BEST TO TRY TO PARTICIPATE ALL 3 DAYS IF YOU CAN 🙂 but as always you can come and go as you please.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?

– Some Board game supplies will be provided.
– A printer for printing limited quantity items.
– There is free software that you can be directed for downloading to create music, do art, and other things.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

It’s best to bring whatever utensils you can such as laptops / PC units, drawing supplies, art tablets, drawing supplies, game controllers for your laptop or PC, headphones and microphones, etc.
Musicians are required to bring laptops, and please bring headphones for them. unfortunately there is no room for live instruments such as drum kits and etc. The best way to record any guitar, keyboard, etc is to have an interface for your laptop/PC.
If you would like to be fed, it is suggested that you bring $20 for donation that is required. This will help buy snacks, drinks, and be able to provide a dinner for Friday, a bagel/doughnut breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and also a lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday. Free pizza will be provided each night as well from Papa Leo’s, but please do contribute to help cover all other meals and etc for yourself.
BRING A FRIEND!!! The more the merrier. It is great to try and get as many people as we can who would love to create with others.
WNY Game Dev, which is a good community Hub to find others who like to play and design games. This group is located in the Western NY area but welcomes ANYONE who is a game designer or game enthusiast from anywhere in the world to meet, talk, and play games. WNY game Dev goes to many events locally and nationally.
